This weekend saw two team members undertake the Mountain Rescue England & Wales course. This course is facilitated by member of the North East Wales Search & Rescue (NEWSAR) and Bolton MRT, with experienced team members acting as mentors and exercise casualties.

The venue is the Kingswood Colomendy camp at Loggerheads, North Wales who provide the accommodation and catering throughout the weekend.

The course attracts participants from across England & Wales, with 38 delegates attending the weekend.

The course aims to equip participants with skills to enable them to leading a small party of volunteers.
