In early August 2010, the team was contacted by Susan Waddington, HASSRA (Health and Social Security Recreation Association) Charity Treasurer at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, to inform us of the fantastic news that the Sports and Social Committee at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, had very kindly decided to support the team as one of two charity beneficiaries of their Charity Year 2010. (Their other charity beneficiary being the Salvation Army)

On Monday 13th September 2010, we received the absolutely fantastic news that £700.00 raised by the Sports and Social Committee at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, had been recently paid directly in to the teams accounts.

We were informed at the time of this wonderful donation that the very kind support of all at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, would extend beyond this large £700.00 donation, with Susan Waddington contacting the team to inform us that their fundraising would continue in support of the Bolton MRT up to the end of 2010.

We asked our readers at the time to keep watching our website for further news of the grateful support of the Sports and Social Committee at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton.

Today we can announce the receipt of a further fantastic donation from our friends at the Sports and Social Committee at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, of £681.28

This means that we have now benefitted from the extreme kindness of all at the Sports and Social Committee at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, to the total of £1,381.28.

Both these very thoughtful donations to the team and the support of the Sports and Social Committee at Jobcentre Plus, Bolton, to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team is very much appreciated by the entire team membership.
