We have received a thoughtful donation of £223.10 from Ms Susan Fernandes of Bolton. In 2005, Bolton Mountain Rescue Team was called to Holcombe Moor under tragic circumstances concerning Susan’s father, Christopher Ramsay (see Incident 24/2005).

Susan writes to tell us that it would have been her father’s 80th birthday on 18th November 2017 and as she and her family hold Bolton Mountain Rescue Team in high regard, she wanted to raise some money for our Team; she decided to use sign language and music to sign the lyrics of eighty songs and ask people to sponsor her, and thanks to the overwhelming generosity of family and friends, she raised £223.10.

We really appreciate such a kind gesture from Susan in memory of her dear father, and thank her sponsors for their support.
