Back in August 2005 the team was called to assist a climber who had injured himself at Ousel Nest Quarry near Jumbles Reservoir. Iain Bissett went on to make a full recovery, and since then, Iains father, David Bissett, has supported the team over the years.

David recently gave a talk for the Rotary Club of Bolton and kindly chose Bolton Mountain Rescue as the benefactor of the £50 fee.
