Ever fancied climbing the 8,848m to the Everest summit but don’t seem to ever get round to it? Then this may be your chance. Bolton Mountain Rescue Team invite you to help us climb the height of Everest by walking a length from Rivington Top Barn to Rivington Pike.

Our fun, family walk will start at Rivington Top Barn this Saturday, 12th May . You can sign up any time between 10am and 2pm. Once you are all signed in then you can follow our markers to the top of the Rivington Pike. On your return you will be presented with a very special certificate and have your photo taken for our Everest hall of fame.

It’s the teams 50th Anniversary and we need at least 50 people to reach the top of Everest so please sign up by liking our Facebook events page then come along and show your support.
