Today the team received a very kind and thoughtful total donation of £285.00 in the memory of the late Mr Alan Perkins of Atherton.

The late Mr Perkins died aged 62 years, on 20th December 2010, and in lieu of flowers at his funeral, it was requested that donations be made to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, as Mr Perkins had been a keen local walker, particularly enjoying the Lake District.

The team extends its thanks to all who kindly made a thoughtful donation in memory of the late Mr Perkins to the Bolton MRT.

The team membership extends its condolences to Mrs Barbara Perkins, the wife of Alan, and to Steven Jackson his step son.
