This evening the team held a Christmas Social at the Jolly Crofters Public House on Chorley Old Road, Horwich, organised by team members Ana Toole and Neil Aspinall.

Twenty six call Out list members attended, five members of our Support Group, and eight of our Probationary Team members.

Former team member Dave Carter also attended and former Support Group member Hazel Kennedy, along with two wifes (Got to mention Gill Parry and Stella Banks) one husband (Pete Whitney) and one daughter (Rebecca Copley)
Highlight of the evening for many was seeing our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE resplendent in his Christmas Jumper! (The only problem was this Val Doonican creation / colourfull Christmas sweater was actually Garry’s normal apparel, but then this is what elderly retired people wear!)

The evening ended with a plea from Judith Waltho to all the strong lads to help her get her car out of the snowy pub car park (At least that was the excuse she used)
