Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

This evening the entire team and all its assets visited Red Watch, GMFRS, at Leigh Fire Station to give a presentation on the work of Mountain Rescue Teams, and to display all our search and rescue equipment resources, including all five of our vehicles, our SAR Boat, Catering and Control Trailers.

Red Watch, Leigh were joined for the evening presentation by Red Watch, Hindley Fire Station.

All the Fire Fighters present commented on how professional the team appeared, and expressed considerable interest in our comprehensive specialist search and rescue equipment.

The Team would particularly like to thank the Watch Commanders at GMFRS Leigh Fire Station and Hindley Fire Station for their obvious interest in the role and capabilities of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, and how such could be utilised on joint operations with GMFRS.

In the immediate future GMFRS Red Watch, Leigh Fire Station and GMFRS Red Watch, Hindley Fire Station are arranging to meet with our Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader to discuss joint exercise opportunities between our respective services.




Practicing for Halloween?

In total twenty eight Bolton MRT Operational Call Out list members attended this evening visit to GMFRS Leigh Fire Station.
