This evening the team hosted a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by the Cadets and Instructors of 1099 (Worsley) Squadron, Air Cadets.

Their visit was in regards to the Cadets Duke of Edinburgh Award work, specifically their work with radios, the Cadets wishing to see the wide range of antenna’s we have in use in the team.

Experienced team call out list member Chris Tennant and Trainee team member Nick Berry welcomed them, and gave them a full insight into our radio equipment, including our handsets, vehicle sets and base sets.

A demonstration of our vehicle mounted pump up radio mast equipment was also given.

At the conclusion of their visit 1099 (Worsley) Squadron Air Cadets presented Chris and Nick with a very kind £20.00 donation to the team.
