At 18.46 hrs this evening as the first team members were arriving at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to prepare for the evenings outdoor exercise, the team was paged directly by a Greater Manchester Police Missing Person Search Manager to respond to a developing urgent search for a missing 53 year old man in the Hale area of Altrincham, in the vicinity of Hale golf course and the River Bollin.

A full team pager call out was made at 18.52hrs for all team members to RVP immediately at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.

With twenty five team members immediately available and with most gathered at our Base / HQ ready to depart for the search RVP, GMP contacted the team at 19.15hrs to say that the missing person had been located by the Police and was now in their custody.

At 19.21hrs the team was stood down by pager, with all five team vehicles ready to depart, our Control Trailer readied to attend and our SAR Boat and Kayak / Canoe section mobilised.
