This evening a small group of team members played host to a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by a representative group of members and players from Bromley Cross Open Age Football Club.

The members and players were met by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Team Chairman Ken Oakes, Training Officer Elaine Gilliland, Committee member Chris Tennant, Call Out list member Mark Parry, and Trainee Team Members Judith Waltho and Steve O’Hara.

The members and players of Bromley Cross Open Age Football Club had arranged their visit to hand over a very generous donation of £580.00 to the team, which was gratefully received on behalf of the team from Ben Owen of BCOAFC by our Chairman Ken Oakes and Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE.

This very large and thoughtful donation was raised by the members of Bromley Cross Open Age Football club in the memory of one of their team colleagues and friends.

Ben Owen of BCOAFC explained to the team members present that the donation had arisen from monies raised at BCOAFC events over the last two years including a Seniors versus Juniors members of the Club football match, raffles and other fundraising ventures and a 5 a-side tournamant.
