Today the team received a one off donation of £420.35 from Mountain Rescue (England and Wales) as a share of the distribution of monies received by MREW for the additional work carried out by Mountain Rescue Teams during the very adverse weather conditions of this recent winter. (Regular readers of our website will know we responded to 110 separate incidents over the period December 19th 2009 to January 13th 2010, all related to the wintry weather conditions prevailing at the time)
