Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd April 2010

At 12.50 hours whilst out walking with friends and family, a boy slipt and fell on the path leading down from Rivington Pike to Georges Lane. He was carried by his father to one of our nearby vehicles where he was treated for suspected ankle and lower leg injuries.

The boy was transported in our Landrover Ambulance BM2 down through the Terraced Gardens to a car park in Rivington, where an ambulance had been called to meet us. The boy was transferred to the ambulance and transported to hospital.
