Our Support Group member, Andy Murphy, represented the Team when he
presented a plaque of appreciation to Mr Jim Smeaton of Belmont Stores and
Post Office, High Street, Belmont.

The plaque was in recognition of the Stores’ customers raising £118.70 for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team during 2009. Although Mr & Mrs Smeaton and their customers have been supporting the Team for many years, this is the first time the annual figure had exceeded £100, so it was felt that a plaque to mark the occasion was appropriate.
