Today we were pleased to receive a kind donation of £60 from the Bolton South District Scouts 8th Weekend Activity Challenge 2009 event, more commonly known to us as the “Pike View Hike”.

This follows our involvement and general help with the event which was held this year on Saturday April 25th. (see news article dated the same day).

The team is very pleased to be associated with this event, which over the course of a weekend brings together Scouts locally and nationally to sample the delights of our local moorlands on a challenge hike event.

Next years event will be held on Saturday 24th April 2010 and will once more see the team lending its usual support.
