Today we received a very kind letter from Venessa Wilkinson, the mother of Alastair, the 9 month old child involved in the scalding incident to which we responded during Horwich Carnival Races, on Sunday 21st June 2009.
Vanessa enclosed with her letter a very kind £50.00 donation to the team.
In her letter Vanessa commented; “Alastair and his mum and dad, Vanessa and Phil, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Bolton team on Horwich Carnival Races Day. Alastairs arm although badly scalded is all the better for the quick treatment administered by the team. Alastair is back to his happy little self and the medics do not think it will scar. We are really grateful for all your help, and thanks to you all we stayed calm.”
The whole team wishes Alastair a continuing quick and healthy full recovery and thanks Vanessa and Phil, for their very sincere comments and kind donation, see also news item dated June 21st 2009, Incident 43-2009.
