This evening Training Officer Andrew Ryding, and team members Pedro Seromenho and Elaine Gilliland welcomed the 3rd Farnworth Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to Bolton Mountain Rescue Base, Ladybridge Hall for an overview of the work that the team are involved in and a demonstration of some team equipment.
Each Beaver, Cub and Scout that attended had been generously giving up their own time to collect on behalf of Bolton Mountain Rescue and were excited to tell us about the raising of funds for us.
Andrew Ryding gave an introduction and then the group were given a demonstration of medical equipment that the team carry and the team vehicles and stretchers with every individual having a chance at handling the stretchers.

On completion of the demonstrations, the Group presented Andrew with an amazing donation of £230.00. The Group Leaders had asked Andrew to present a prize to the individual who had managed to collect the most funds and the team members were delighted to be asked to present a tent to Beaver, Keelan McNally, aged 6.
