Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

12th March 2009

This evening Team Training Officer Andrew Ryding in the company of Call Out list member Elaine Gilliland attended the Annual Westhoughton Rotary Club Evening of Presentations to the local community.

Held as ever at Brookfield, Peel Street, Westhoughton, this annual event brings together the representatives of a vast number of charities (small and large, long established and new) all present to receive the extremely generous and kind support of the Rotary Club of Westhoughton.

For Andrew it was a meeting with many Rotarian frends he has made as a representative of the team over a great many years, and he along with Elaine reported how honoured he was to be present at the evening, and how humbled they were to be in the company of so many other representatives of all the charities present tonight.

Andrew and Elaine, after a three course meal for all present took their turn to give a short presentation to the many guests and Rotarians on the work of the team, then listened with interest to all the other presentations from the many charities present.

We are very pleased to announce a fantastic and very generous donation of £150.00 from the Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Westhoughton.

The team would like to thank all at the Rotary Club of Westhoughton for their continuing and very valued support of the team, which has existed for a great many years now.
