Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

8th March 2009

Today the team said a sad fairwell to team callout member Laura Millichamp aged 28 who joined the team exactly 3 years ago on this day in March 2006.

Laura, a pharmacist by profession, was an obvious wealth of knowledge during any casualty care training session within the team involving drugs, alongside her commitment to training and callouts.

For the last year Lauras work has taken her to London Monday to Friday with her maintaining her team commitment over weekends. Sadly Laura has now decided to leave the team to concentrate more on her personal mountaineering and climbing interests.

The team will miss her contribution of cake on vehicle valet days, although it does leave the way clear for Elaine Gilliland to win the ’rear of the year’ award at the team dinner this year!
