Further to our recent news article of Wednesday 17th December 2008, we have today received another very kind and generous donation in celebration of the 80th Birthday of Mrs Margaret Finch, of Bolton, in lieu of a birthday present. (Margaret asked of her family and friends to send donations to a charity of their choice in celebration of her 80th Birthday.)
This time the donation has come from Margarets brother, Douglas Bamford of Combe Down, Bath.
Douglas sent his very much appreciated and thoughtful £50.00 donation to Margaret who in turn passed it on to the team, attached with a letter from her which stated, “Your team does a wonderful job, hence my decision to choose you as a charity to support in lieu of a birthday present from my brother.”
The team would like to thank Douglas Bamford for his support of the team, and Margaret Finch for choosing us to support as her charity of choice.
