Not previously reported on the website, on Sunday 28th September whilst parked up in the team area, the crew of one of our Landrover Ambulances was approached in the Lower House area of Rivington by a concerned man carrying a young child who had sustained an ankle injury in a previous fall further up the hillside.

The crew of our Landrover bandaged the young childs ankle injury and suggested the man take the child to hospital for a check up / ankle x-ray.

The man very kindly immediately donated all his £5.40p change to the team members as a token of his appreciation for the ready help they had given him and the child.
