Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

20th April 2008

Today the team is pleased to announce the donation of £100 from the Pennine Wayfarers Rambling Club following a lecture given by the team to their group on the 25th March 2008 at our Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ.

The lecture focused on specific advice when dealing with moorland & mountain accidents and how best they could help any casualties and responding MRT’s.

In their letter to the team, the club, whose membership is drawn predominantly from the Whitefield and Bury areas, commented on the team’s work, saying both that they found the lecture very constructive, and that they were “amazed at the number of things that the Bolton Mountain Rescue get involved with.”.

Many thanks to all at the Pennine Wayfarers Rambling club for their generous donation which as ever will be ploughed straight back into providing our services to the community.
