This evening the team was again honoured to have as its guests for the second time in 6 months, two representatives from Bolton Lever Rotary Club who visited the team this evening with yet another very kind donation.

David Bolton, President of the Rotary Club of Bolton Lever visited along with Sandra Hughes, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Bolton to present team representatives including our Chairman, Ken Oakes and Team Leader, Garry Rhodes with a fantastic £1000 donation (This follows an equally kind donation of £500 on the 26th September 2007 – see website article).

Our readers may be interested to know that this £1000 donation was raised as a result of Bolton Lever Rotary Club’s “Santa’s Sleigh” Christmas collection in the Lostock & Heaton areas of Bolton. Besides this wonderful £1000 donation to our team, Bolton Lever Rotary Club, within the same overall donation, made a very kind £1000 donation each to Bolton Hospice and Birtenshaw Special School, Bromley Cross.
