The Team was contacted by Pager by NWAS (GMA) Paramedic Emergency Control to assist NWAS with a possible peak demand loading on its resources, the Team made available 2 Mountain Rescue Landrover ambulances on standby at our LBH base.

10 incidents were attended directly with regards to this standby, consisting of 2 Code Red, 5 Code Amber & 1 Code Green emergencies in the Bolton, Bury & Manchester City Centres.

The team continues to help NWAS with such peak demand periods, the team is also providing pre-planned cover to assist NWAS on New Years Eve.
