At 18:14 this evening the team was paged by NWAS (Greater Manchester Area) who requested our assistance as part of their step-up resource plan given a high incident loading on their immediate resources available.
One Bolton MRT Landrover ambulance was put at the disposal of NWAS (GMA) and 4 incidents were dealt with between 19:22 and 01:15 in the early hours of the following morning, consisting of 1 code Red and 3 code Amber calls attended.
The incidents were in the Wigan, Leigh and Bolton areas, all being medical incidents at home addresses.
The team is happy to support our local communities when NWAS is faced with these Peak Demand situations entailing the implementation of their step-up resource plan.
Thanks are expressed to the Belle Vue Paramedic Emergency Control staff who as ever are always helpful and keep us busy during the course of the evening!
