Today we received a donation in the post via valued team supporter David Bisset, from the Rotary Club of Bolton for £50.00.
David, regular readers will recall, was present when his son had a climbing accident whilst they were climbing together, at Ousel Nest Quarry, Chapeltown, overlooking Jumbles Reservoir, with the team being called out to assist the Ambulance Service treat and evacuate Davids son. (Who went on to make a full recovery)
David Bisset presented a talk to the Rotary Club of Bolton at their lunchtime meeting of Monday 22nd October 2007, to which the Rotarians offerd a cheque donation to a nominated charity.
David very kindly suggested the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, to which in turn the members of the Rotary Club of Bolton kindly made a £50.00 donation.
All the team membership wishes to thank David for his much valued and continuing support of the team and to the Rotary Club of Bolton for their kindness in making their donation.
