This evening the team was honoured to have as its guests 14 members of the Bolton Lever Rotary Club, who visited the team for a presentation on the role of the team.

The Rotary members were entertained by a talk on the background of the team by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes, followed by a vehicle and equipment demonstration by team members John Parish and Steve Nelson.

All the Bolton Lever Rotary Club members commented on how informative their evening visit had been and many wished they had had more time available to stay and learn about the team, but unfortunately they had a prior evening meal arrangement.

Our Team Leader was greatly surprised by the President of Bolton Lever Rotary Club, David Bolton, who in the company of Rebecca Harrison, the Rotary Club Vice President, presented our Team Leader with a fantastic £500 donation.

David Bolton, their president, also presented Garry with a Rotary Club of Bolton Lever pennant flag, in exchange Garry our Leader handed out Bolton MRT car window stickers and information leaflets on the team.

The marvellous £500 donation was as a result of Rotary Club member & President David Bolton nominating us as his charity of the year.

The team is very grateful to all the members of Bolton Lever Rotary Club for their much appreciated support of the team.
