This evening the Chairman of Horwich Carnival Races Committee, Neil Brown, visited our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ, to make a very kind cheque presentation to the team for the teams help on the Horwich Carnival Race event of Sunday 24th June this year. (see website news entry for that date)

Neil Brown in presenting the £500.00 donation to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes and other team representatives, thanked the team for the fantastic help it provided on this year’s day long event, which sees the centre of Horwich completely closed to enable the road cycling and road running events to take place.

In reply Garry thanked Neil for the continuing support of the team by the Horwich Carnival Races Committee.

Next years event is scheduled for Sunday 22nd June 2008, and all our readers are recommended to come along to this wonderful and somewhat unique event, join in the fun of the day and see some superb athletes in action.
