Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

28th July 2007

Well with the recent monsoon weather conditions it was fingers crossed all round that today would result in a dry and sunny day, to ensure the maximum success for our Annual Bolton Town Centre Collection Day.

Thankfully the rain clouds stayed away, and team call out list members, Support Group members and friends of the team set about collecting amongst the Bolton town centre shoppers.

Present within the town centre was a small team display, based around two of our Landrover Mountain Rescue Ambulances and our Control Trailer.

We are pleased to announce that the grand total of £854.23 was raised from amongst the many shoppers who kindly supported the team throughout the day.

Thanks from the team is also due to Bolton MBC who kindly allowed us to collect within the town centre, and their staff who were very helpful in granting us the necessary permissions.

Special thanks to Call Out List member Chris Tennant, and his wife and Support Group member Tina Tennant who did all the background work to arrange the day, which resulted in its smooth running and success.
