Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

25th July 2007

The team welcomed tonight NWAS (Lancashire Area) Paramedic Chris Fraser – Clark, who is based at Darwen Ambulance Station, and was coming along to familiarise himself with the workings of the team, having met us on lots of incidents over the years.

Chris hopes to come out on a few exercises with the team and also gain a greater insight into the casualty care and evacuation equipment we use.
During his visit, Chris sat in on the evenings training lectures, the first being ’the effects of insect bites and other biological agents that we may come across in the outdoors on team activities,’ the second being a practical session on the new ’Kendrick Traction Devices,’ which have just come into team service.
