It is with regret that we announce the retirement from the team of Call Out list member Alan Livesey for personal reasons.

Alan joined the team in August 1998, and ever since has been a stalwart call out list team member, bringing into the team a wealth of walking experience gained as a walk leader with the Ramblers Association.

Alan was one of our very experienced Party Leaders, and always supplied sound advice to his colleague team members young and old, new to the team and not so new to the team.

Alan also acted as ’Clothing quartermaster without portfolio’, dealing with regular orders for team summer shirts, sweatshirts and bsaeball caps. He was also central to the purchase and handout of our ’KEELA’ team clothing a few years ago.

His skills as a coachbuilder saw him actively involved in our Control Trailer project, alongside the equally specific skills of other team members, resulting in a fantastic control facility for the team in the field.

Put all this against his ’soapbox Alan’ oft outspoken character and we will miss an excellent all round friend to all and team member.
