Organised by Horwich RMI Harriers and Athletics Club, and forming part of the Horwich Carnival Races series, this run takes in a 6km course on the tracks and paths around the base of Rivington Pike, along to the Pigeon Tower and through the rear part of Lever Park, Rivington.

The Senior Race, commencing at 19:30 attracted 120 runners, all of whom completed the event without incident.

As in previous years the Team was on hand to provide back up to the marshalls at the various marshall points and to provide standby rescue cover in case of any incident.

Thirty five team members attended the event, most getting a good soaking in the heavy downpour that signalled the start of the event!
