This evening at our Wednesday night regular training practice, the team played host to freelance journalist Angela Kelly (formerly of the Bolton Evening News and still a regular contributor to the paper), who came to visit to write an article on the team and its membership for Lancashire Magazine.

Following short interviews with a large and varied cross section of our membership the team then journeyed to the Pike Cottage area of Rivington Moor, where a group photograph of 41 team members and our 4 team vehicles was taken prior to a beautiful sunset.

Angela Kelly commented that she found the individual stories of the team members interviewed of great interest and felt she had the makings of an excellent story for the bi-monthly magazine.

We understand this article is due in the July/August edition this summer and we are eagerly awaiting its arrival on the magazine stands.
