During the afternoon of Monday 20th March, the team was asked to assist NWAS (GMA) during a peak demand period. The team responded to 9 incidents, 1 code green, 3 code ambers and 5 code reds across the Bolton and Wigan areas.

The incidents involved ankle injuries and heart attacks amongst others, and ranged from a very young child to a person in their late 70s.

Three of our Landrover vehicles were involved in this assistance call, with other members involved in our control operation who were directly acting in liaison with NWAS (GMA) Paramedic Emergency Control. In total, 11 team members were involved.

The first call was at 16:23, with the last called being attended at 22:22.
