Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd February 2007

Viewers of our website following the progress and recovery of ex team member, and ex local Church Minister Mike Thomason, now serving as a Chaplain with the British Army, will be pleased to hear that in late December he left the Birmingham Hospital where he was recovering from blast injuries incurred on active service in Iraq, and is now back with his Regiment in Germany.

He still has a long way to go a full recovery but things are now considerably better than they were when he was first airlifted back to the UK for medical treatment.

In a letter updating us on his progress (and thanking us for our get well wishes etc.,) Mike and his wife Sue have kindly donated £25.00 to the team.

Thanks Mike (and Sue) heres to a continuing successful recovery, and we all hope to see you soon when you visit home.
