As part of NWAS (ML) pre arranged plan to cope with peak demand calls on this festive season night, the Team was mobilised to directly assist NWAS (ML) with ambulance calls throughout the evening, alongside members of the Oldham MRT & our colleagues in the St John Ambulance Brigade.

11 Team members mobilised to crew our control function, setup at our Ladybridge Hall base and 4 Team vehicles placed at the disposal of NWAS (ML).

Team members were available from 18:30 Hrs with the first job being tasked at 20:14 Hrs (Our Incident 199/2006). The last job of 2006 came in at 23:48 Hrs (Our Incident 203 /2006) in the night of 31st December, New Year’s Eve.

In total 1 Code Amber & 4 Code Red calls were dealt with on New Year’s Eve.

We remain on standby for NWAS (ML) until the early hours of New Year’s Day.
