At 09:18 this morning, our Team Leader was contacted by Greater Manchester Police Force Control Room to request contact be made with a GMP Missing Person Search Manager regarding a missing 12 year old young girl in the central Wigan area.

At 09:23 our Team Leader requested the team go to immediate standby at our LBH base, whilst he gathered more information. At 09:35 a full team callout was initiated to rendezvous with a considerable Police presence at Mesnes Park in Wigan town centre.

At 10:00 our first team member arrived on scene to liaise with Police officers whilst other team members were responding with our vehicles, Control and catering trailers in anticipation of a major search operation.

During the response, at circa 10:30, team members at the search RVP were informed that the missing 12 year old had been located, with a team stand down pager call being initiated at 10:35.
