At 18:10 this evening our Team Leader was directly contacted by a Greater Manchester Police Missing Person Search Manager regards the team’s urgent assistance in the search for a missing male, believed to be in the vicinity of the Beech Hill area of Standish.

The Police already had resources responding to the area including their fixed-wing Air Support Unit aircraft, India 66 and divisional Police resources including a search dog unit.

After gathering essential information our Team Leader placed the team on immediate standby at our LBH base whilst he gathered further information from the Police Officer in charge at the scene.

Very shortly after this the missing person was located by GMP within a wooded area near to the Beech Hill area and the team was stood down.
