Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

18th October 2006

We received by email today the pleasant surprise of a promised donation amounting to £300 from Paul O’Rourke, of Alpine Extreme, 254 Bolton Road, Westhoughton.

Paul is opening an Outdoor Equipment retail shop in Westhoughton and would like to build a relationship with the team and its membership.

We have been invited to an open evening at the new shop on Tuesday 24th October between 7pm and 9pm before the shop officially opens its doors to the public on Wednesday 25th October.

Paul has kindly offered the team a discount arrangement and has made an offer to assist the team in raising money on a regular basis.

The team is grateful for this very kind offer of support and will be sending a team Landrover and team representatives headed by our Chairman Ken Oakes to the Tuesday 24th October open evening.

We wish Paul O’Rourke every success with his business for the future.
