This morning at 10.30hrs, our Mountain Rescue Trailing Dog Handler, Steve Nelson, of SARDA (Wales) received a call out to assist North Yorkshire Police in the continuing search for a missing 58 year old woman, in the Hutton Le Hole area.

By 14.00hrs, Steve Nelson, his Mountain Rescue Trailing Dog Boris, and Bolton MRT team member Elaine Gilliland, who as usual assisted Steve as his navigator, together journeyed to the Hutton Le Hole area, commencing their search involvement at circa 16.00hrs.

They joined North Yorkshire Police, Scarborough and Ryedale MRT, Swaledale MRT, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire SAR Team, and other SARDA Air Scenting Dog assets, in the large scale search for the missing woman.

The woman was subsequently found in the area this evening and is now recovering in hospital.

At circa 20.30hrs, Steve, Boris and Elaine, all left the search operation, arriving back home at 22.15hrs.
