At 13:45 today, Greater Manchester Police requested the team’s assistance in the search for a 29 year old vulnerable male who had been missing since 17:00 the previous day, in the Platt Bridge area of Wigan.

As the team was assembling the good news came through that the missing person had been located by a GMP Search Manager, whilst he was reviewing the search area on foot.

The team was stood down at 14:28 with 15 team members already en-route.
