At 19:28 GMAS contacted the team for assistance with the evacuation of a male, who had been found semiconscious, on a overgrown, disused railway line in the Tyldesley area of Wigan. Paramedics and Police were already on scene when our first members arrived within 10 minutes of receiving the call.

Fortunately team members utilising one of our four-wheel drive Landrover ambulances were able to access the casualty location, and the man was transported in our vehicle to the amublance waiting at the roadhead.
