Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd May 2005

This Sunday the team attended the launch of the Rotary Way, held at Rivington & Blackrod High School, and organised by local Bolton Rotary Clubs. A number of charities attended this launch event including 18 members of the team who were on hand to deal with any incidents that may have occured, but fortunately our services weren’t required (our colleagues in St. John Ambulance, Horwich Division, were also in attendance)

The seven Rotary Clubs serving the Bolton area have got together to develop and promote “The Rotary Way”, which is a 50 mile walk divided into eight sections, around the permiter of Bolton. This has been promoted and published in the Bolton Evening News. Details of the walk can be found on their website
