At 15:11, whilst in the team area, LAS contacted the team to assist with the report of a collapsed woman in the vicinity of Rivington Hall Barn. 13 team members responded along with Helimed 08 and an LAS ambulance from Chorley Ambulance Station.

The woman concerned had been out walking with her husband, and felt unwell (she had a history of cardiac problems). Two members of the nearby Rivington Hall Barn catering establishment, plus passers by, initially assisted the woman. She was treated with Oxygen and her own cardiac drugs, then transported by the LAS vehicle to Chorley Hospital.
