Much is noted on our website about mountain search & rescue equipment purchases but the team also has regular sundry purchases to make, not as glamorous as stretchers, ropes, and the paraphernalia of rescue but nonetheless of vital importance to the successful running of the team.

A new pair of adjustable stepladders has been purchased for use within our base alongside a set of outdoor ladders to carry out essential building maintenance tasks to our base.

Our annual base & vehicle fire extinguisher inspection has also been carried out resulting in the purchase of 4 new fire extinguishers of larger capacity than previous for our vehicles, along with some new extinguishers for our LBH base (the total cost of these fire extinguishers is in the region of £200).
