In our second call of the day, the team was contacted at 16:44 by GMAS requesting our assistance at the Wilton 3 quarry, where a climber had fallen 8 ft onto the quarry floor.
We were able to make a very fast response as team members were still present at base from the previous incident. Arriving on scene in 10 minutes, we were stood down along with multiple resources from GMAS, GMFRS and LFRS. The casualty was able to make his own way from the quarry with his climbing partner and had fortunately only suffered from minor injuries. 21 team members were responding to this callout when we were stood down at 16:58.
