Today as part of a long-running assistance to Bolton Countryside Ranger Service, by the team, for navigation training purposes, team members Andy Ryding and Dave Sarti presented an introductory course covering moorland navigation for newer members of the Bolton Countryside Ranger Service, who amongst other areas may find themselves operating on Smithills Moor. The day gives the team an excellent liaison opportunity whilst the Rangers benefit from the expertise and knowledge of two of the team’s first class navigators.
