GMP contacted the team at 16:22 for urgent search assistance given the very cold daytime temperatures with regards to a 76 year old missing Wigan woman who was last seen at her home address early this afternoon, and was now giving Police cause for concern.

Including 11 team members already in the team area, 31 team members in total (including our search dog Chi) were responding to this search when the good news was received that the lady had turned up safe & well in Horwich.
