Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd November 2003

At 19:25 on Sunday, the team was contacted by GMAS control, who requested the team’s assistance for general ambulance calls at a time of excesive demand on the ambulance service. The team mobilised its 4 landrover ambulances immediately, which were crewed by members selected from the 32 total members who made themselves available. 4 calls were dealt with, including one where the patient was taken to hospital in our new landrover, BM4. The team was stood down by GMAS control at 23:05. MRT despatch and control was operated from our Bolton Fire station base.

The general organised chaos, within our Bolton Fire Station Base, during the busy night of GMAS assists.
