Representing the growing liaison and relationship the Team has with Greater Manchester Ambulance Service, on Wednesday 23^rd April, the Team was invited to attend the second meeting of the “Greater Manchester Emergency Care Specialist Emergency Care Sub Group” meeting at GMAS Training School, Ladybridge Hall, Bolton. Made up of representatives from GMAS, GMCFS, British Red Cross, SJAB, GP’s, SMART, Hospital A&E Consultants and the GMAS First Responder Scheme, the meeting provided a forum to discuss priumary care provisions within Greater Manchester, (of which the Bolton MRT has a small,but nonetheless important and extremely varied role to play.) Garry Rhodes our Team Leader attended and has gone on to attend the regular subsequent meetings of this group, under the Chair of Team friend and supporter, Derek Cartwright, GMAS Director of Operations.
